  • Posting your photo is optional — saying no will not affect your lessons.
  • If you say yes, give consent in writing (SMS/DM/email/form) and keep a copy.
  • If you’re under 18, a parent/guardian should give written consent.
  • You can change your mind later — write our or relevant driving school to remove the post with your image.

  • Your greensheet contains personal details — treat it like any other private document.
  • Avoid posting it publicly.

  • Some marketing images showing pass with plates may be AI-generated online or heavily edited.
  • Warning signs: strange hands/fingers, distorted text/logos, mismatched shadows, impossible reflections.
  • If a post looks “too perfect” or shows something unrealistic, save screenshots/links and better to ask for genuine reviews from that driving school.
  • If someone download your photos from Social Media and shares or threatens to share intimate/degrading images, contact the eSafety Commissioner for help.
  • For scams (fake profiles, payment requests, impersonation), report to Scamwatch and your bank immediately.

  • Guaranteed first-time pass” claims are not realistic — no one can promise the test route or your result.
  • Be cautious of posts that look “official” or suggest approval by Service NSW/TfNSW.
  • Watch for fake “local” claims, hidden fees, or discounts that don’t match the real price.
  • If anyone offers to cheat,clear, or complete the computer-based DKT/knowledge test for someone else - or if you are asked for or offered a bribe - report it to Service NSW

  • Ask the driving school to remove the content (send a clear written request).
  • Keep screenshots/URLs and note dates.
  • If ignored, report the post to the platform and consider the eSafety Commissioner if appropriate.

  • Do not engage with threats; collect evidence (screenshots, links, usernames).
  • Report to the platform and seek help from the eSafety Commissioner.
  • If money is demanded, keep messages and contact your bank/police for advice.

  • Never pay from links sent by random DMs. Use official sites or links only.
  • If you paid a scammer, contact your bank immediately and file a report.
  • Report fake profiles,fake pages,fake pass claims etc and share the handles with us so we can warn others.
